Oceanside, Calif. - A 17-year-old boy was stabbed as he was walking to school Thursday morning in Oceanside.
The incident happened at 9 a.m. at the corner of Sportfisher Drive and Horne Street.
The teen sustained a stab wound to the stomach and he was taken to an area hospital by helicopter.
His condition was unknown, but Oceanside police said the teen's injuries were non-life threatening.
On Jan. 29, a 16-year-old boy was fatally stabbed near the intersection of Center and Division streets. Police said it was unclear if Thursday's incident was in any way connected to the one on Jan. 29.
