Teen Arrested In Vista Homicide Case

A 17-year-old boy was arrested Saturday and charged with the murder of a Vista man who was shot to death after a fight at a party spilled into the street, police said. The victim, Ethan Hall, 19, of Vista, was at a party in the 1000 block of North Drive, a couple blocks east of North Melrose Drive, when a fight broke out just before 11 p.m. Friday, according to San Diego sheriff's Lt. Dennis Brugos. About 60 to 80 people spilled out into the street, where Hall was shot, Brugos said. He died at the scene. Police arrested the suspect, a Vista resident whose name was withheld, when he arrived home about 8:30 a.m., said Brugos. No additional suspects were being sought, he said.
