SAN DIEGO -
A rollover crash involving a Ford Expedition was reported on south I-5 at Palm Avenue.
The crash occurred at 3:15 a.m.
10News learned that the woman behind the wheel was driving when a rod on her left front tire broke.
The woman lost control of the vehicle and it flipped over.
The crash blocked one lane of the freeway when it landed, but the woman was able to crawl from the wreckage.
She was taken to the hospital.
