ESCONDIDO, Calif. - One of two men who led a Sheriff's deputy in a high speed chase in North County is on the loose Thursday.
The chase began at 4:23 a.m. after a Sheriff's deputy attempted to make a traffic stop. The driver of the car sped off and led the deputy in a chase on Del Dios Highway 1.
Two suspects fled on foot after losing control of the car and crashing into a pole.
One was arrested, but deputies are still searching for the second one.
