SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Two suspects, one of them armed, today robbed a restaurant in the Grantville community of San Diego.

The two suspects walked into the Sombrero Mexican Food Restaurant, 6178 Mission Gorge Road, about 2:50 a.m. with hoodies covering their faces, said Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.

They walked behind the counter and one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the employee, demanding that he open the register, Heims said.

The employee handed over some cash and the suspect ran westbound on Vandever Avenue, he said.

The first suspect was described as a clean shaven 5-foot, 8-inch tall Latino man in his 20s with a medium build, weighing 160 pounds and last seen wearing a light-colored, gray hoodie. The second suspect was described as dark-skinned 5-foot, 8-inch tall Latino man in his 20s who was wearing a dark hoodie.
