A suspected drunk driver is under arrest Tuesday morning after crashing his Jeep into a parked BMW, causing it to catch on fire.

The crash occurred at around 1:45 a.m. near El Cajon Boulevard and Main Street.The driver of a Jeep Cherokee drifted out of his lane and crashed into the parked BMW, pushing it 20 feet away. When the BMW caught fire, the driver fled.Fire department crews were able to extinguish the blaze quickly while police searched for the driver.Police later found him about half a mile away when he staggered past a patrol car near Magnolia and Lexington Streets.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
