SAN DIEGO - A suspected drunken driver was arrested early Friday after he crashed his car into a Linda Vista-area house, San Diego police said.
The Lincoln, driven by a man in his 20s, struck the outside of the house at 2205 Crandall Street about 2:20 a.m., according to police and the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
No one was injured but 10News learned that the car slammed into a bedroom where a 16-year-old girl was sleeping. 10News was told the teen thought she was having a nightmare when the crash happened.
A structural engineer was called in to assess the damage, a fire department dispatcher said. The driver has been arrested.
