SAN DIEGO - A woman is in custody Tuesday after she allegedly slammed her car into several parked cars in Clairemont.
The crash happened at 2:15 a.m. on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard just east of Diane Ave.
Police at the scene told 10News that the woman plowed her Hyundai Sonata into three parked cars, severely damaging them.
The driver, who is in her 20s, was given a field sobriety test and arrested.
"I heard three loud bangs and then came running out, and she was revving the engine, trying to make it around the corner, but it wasn't getting very far without a wheel," Justin Denny, a resident, told 10News.
A similar suspected DUI crash happened Monday morning after a driver hit three parked cars in Mira Mesa.
