Lemon Grove, Calif - Four people are in the hospital after a suspected drunk driver going the wrong way down the 94-East crashed head-on with multiple vehicles.

The incident occurred around 7:30 pm on Saturday, immediately after the crash the driver fled the scene on foot.

CHP officers found an open container of alcohol in the suspect’s car, which they believe to be the same vehicle that was reported stolen earlier that day.

Police conducted a search and found the suspect shortly after only a few blocks from the scene of the accident.
