A suspected drunken motorist speeding in a red Corvette suffered some serious injuries Sunday when his car struck an electrical box and a parked vehicle in Chula Vista, police said.
Officers dispatched at 1:45 a.m. to the 1400 block of Third Avenue arrived to find the motorist unconscious, ejected from his car and suffering from head trauma, according to a news statement from the Chula Vista Police
Department.
Paramedics rushed the man to UCSD Hospital with serious injuries.
