SAN DIEGO - Police officers were on the lookout Friday for the man who used a simulated gun to rob a North Park auto parts store.
The suspect demanded cash from an employee at O'Reilly Auto Parts at 3105 El Cajon Blvd. shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday, then ran off toward Illinois Street with an undisclosed amount and some display items, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.
No one was injured, the officer said.
Police described the suspect as Hispanic and in his 20s. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and yellow or tan boots.
