Stabbing reported on trolley in Logan Heights

SAN DIEGO - San Diego police are investigating a stabbing that occurred on the trolley in Logan Heights.

The incident was reported just before 10 p.m. Monday near 32nd and Commercial streets. Police say the victim was stabbed in the abdomen and was not seriously injured. A witness told 10News the victim was stabbed while trying to defend a woman who was being harassed by the suspect.

The stabbing suspect is described as a tall, thin black male who has long straight hair and was wearing a stocking on his head. He was last seen running northbound on 32nd Street.
