LA JOLLA, Calif. - A man in his 20s was stabbed two times in the abdomen at a party near UC San Diego early Thursday, police said.
The stabbing in the 4100 block of Executive Drive was reported at 2:04 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford. The man was hospitalized but his injuries were not life-threatening, he said in a
statement.
The motive for the attack was under investigation.
Police described the suspect as a bearded Hispanic man in his early 20s, around 5 feet 9, 180 pounds, last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
