A sinkhole near a shopping center was reported in Grantville early Friday morning.

The hole, thought to have been caused by water leaking from an underground pipe, was located at the corner of Riverdale Street and Zion Avenue.Crews estimate the size of the sinkhole to be six-feet-by-six-feet.One person drove through the water and one of their tires got stuck in the hole. The driver was able to free the tire from the hole without a tow-truck.It is unknown at this time when repairs will be completed.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
