SAN DIEGO - Northbound Interstate 5 lanes were reopened Friday morning after a three-car crash prompted a closure and SigAlert.
The crash was reported at 5:11 a.m. near Carmel Valley and prompted a SigAlert at 5:23 a.m. leaving traffic at a standstill for more than an hour.
Four people involved in the crash were transported to Scripps La Jolla with non-life threatening injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
All lanes were reopened around 6:40 a.m., CHP said.
