SAN DIEGO -
A Sig Alert was issued Friday morning after a Peterbilt truck overturned, sending fluids across an off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the truck was traveling on northbound Interstate 805 and exiting on Balboa Avenue when the driver somehow lost control and overturned shortly after 9:45 a.m.
The truck landed on its left side on the left shoulder of the off-ramp. The driver was able to exit the truck, but suffered minor injuries.
The CHP closed the northbound I-805 off-ramp to westbound Balboa Avenue due to the clean-up efforts.
The Sig Alert was finally lifted at about 1:20 p.m.
