SAN DIEGO - One gunshot was fired into a wall as two armed suspects robbed the Chick-A-Deli Mediterranean restaurant in Kearny Mesa, police said Sunday.
Robbers entered the closed business at 9119 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. from the rear door at about 10:46 p.m Saturday., said San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros.
"One of the suspects fired his weapon into a wall," Delimitros said. "They made a demand and were last seen leaving out the rear door on foot."
The robbers were wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves, he said. The loss was not disclosed and robbery detectives were investigating.
No injuries were reported.
