SAN DIEGO - A man was wounded late Wednesday afternoon in a shooting in Logan Heights, San Diego police said.
The shooting was reported at about 4:45 p.m. in the 2200 block of Harrison Avenue, according to police.
The events that led to the shooting have not been immediately disclosed, but police told 10News that one person was shot and transported to the hospital with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
Police said several people linked to the shooting have been detained, but one person is believed to be holed up in a home on Harrison Avenue. As of 8:30 p.m., the standoff ended when police discovered that the home was empty.
