EL CAJON, Calif. - Authorities in El Cajon say they are investigating an early-morning robbery Saturday at an area 7-Eleven store.

San Diego County sheriff's deputies from the Lemon Grove Sheriff's Station said the robbery occurred at the store on 1498 Jamacha Road.

According to investigators, a man walked into the store at around 1:33 a.m., pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The culprit then grabbed the money from the drawer and ran out of the store in an unknown direction.

The man was last seen wearing a black jacket with hearts on it, jeans and a red mask.
