Sexual assault reported at Alpine campground, woman says she was attacked in bathroom stall

ALPINE, Calif. (KGTV) -- A suspect is on the loose after a woman told police she was sexually assaulted in a campground restroom in Alpine.
 
The victim reported that the incident happened around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ma-Tar-Awa RV Camper Park at 25 Browns Road.
 
The woman told police she walked into the campground restroom and saw a man facing away from her in a stall. She said she entered a stall and the man then approached her from behind, said "hey" and then sexually assaulted her. She said as the assault progressed, she asked the man not to hurt her and that's when he fled.
 
The woman did not see the suspect's face and told police she did not know his age or race. She did however provide the following description:
  • 5 feet, 10 inches tall
  • Weighs approximatley 200 pounds
  • Has long, dark hair to the middle of his back
  • Was wearing blue jeans and a black long-sleeve t-shirt
