SAN DIEGO - A 20-year-old woman suffered multiple broken bones, including a compound fracture of her left leg, when she drove her car off Avenida de las Vistas, police said Thursday.
The woman was speeding eastbound on Avenida de las Vistas when she failed to stop at Otay Valley Road and drove off the shoulder around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, launching her car into a dirt bank, said San Diego police Sgt. David E. Jennings. The crash was under investigation, he said.
