EL CAJON, Calif. - A man who molested two teenage boys, including one he met through MySpace.com, is scheduled to be sentenced Friday in an El Cajon courtroom.

Jeffrey John McPherson, 43, pleaded guilty in May to oral copulation and sodomy counts for sexually assaulting two boys, including a family friend. He also pleaded guilty to a charge of attempting to dissuade a witness, involving another boy he met through MySpace.com.

All of the victims were 16 or 17 at the time of the crimes, said Deputy District Attorney Heather Trocha.

The defendant was originally arrested in June 2010 on suspicion of sexually assaulting one of the victims over a nine-month period. He was freed on bail and re-arrested on Feb. 15, 2011 after he failed to show for a
scheduled court appearance

Judge William McGrath is expected to sentence McPherson to four years in prison and require him to register as a sex offender for life.
