CHULA VISTA, Calif. - A Sig Alert issued Friday because of a jackknifed tractor-trailer on west Interstate 8 near the state Route 125 connector has been lifted, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 11:06 a.m. and involved one other vehicle. Two lanes were shut down as a result.
Another jackknifed big rig was reported Friday on north Interstate 805 near Main Street in Chula Vista.
This crash, which occurred at 10:45 a.m., blocked at least three lanes and did not involve other vehicles.
The San Diego Fire Department was called to the second scene because of a strong odor of gasoline.
