Search under way for 2 suspected of stabbing man in Ocean Beach

Incident occurred in 4900 block of Newport Ave

SAN DIEGO - Police are searching Wednesday for two suspects believed to have stabbed a man in Ocean Beach.

The victim, a man in his 60s, called police at 4:45 a.m. and told them he was attacked by two men in the 4900 block of Newport Avenue.

The two suspects took off on foot.

Police said the suspects were described as a white male, about 25 years old,  5 feet 8 inches, bald and wearing a white Cowboys jersey. The second suspect was described as a neatly dressed Hispanic male in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches, weighing 180 pounds and wearing a trench coat.

Authorities told 10News that the victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening wounds.
