SAN DIEGO - Police were on the lookout Monday for a man who stabbed another man in the buttocks during an argument in downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter.
The stabbing on a sidewalk in the 500 block of Market Street was reported at 11:34 p.m. Sunday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, was stabbed once in the buttocks by the suspect, who may be a transient in his 30s, he said in a statement.
Police described the suspect as black and skinny, last seen wearing a gray hoodie and carrying an orange backpack.
The victim was expected to be OK, Delimitros said.
