SAN DIEGO - The serial predator in a police sketch released in May has attacked again. Police say he went after a third woman.
10News was there early Friday as a clearly distraught woman recounted the horror she had just been through to police.
"This is where you look. You see the indent? That's where I fell back," she told investigators.
Police say the victim was walking near Paseo Aurora and Riviera Shores Street in Otay Mesa at about 1 a.m. Friday when she was grabbed from behind and sexually assaulted. She fought back, using her pepper spray to stop the attack.
"Oh my God, that's just really, I'm really concerned about that," said neighbor Irma Guerra, who walks the same street every night where the woman was attacked.
For a neighborhood already worried, it did not help that the man police are looking for is a familiar face. 10News was at another apartment complex talking to women in fear less than three months ago, after police released a sketch of the same man wanted for two nearly identical attacks on women there.
Both incidents occurred in the 1200 block of Dennery Road in April and May. The location where the most recent assault took place is less a mile away.
