Search continues for suspect Tiffany Nowden-Vale, who is accused of killing wife Russina Vale

Nowden-Vale may have taken Vale's dogs

SAN DIEGO - Authorities asked the public Thursday for help in finding a woman suspected of fatally bludgeoning her wife at their San Carlos apartment.

Tiffany Nowden-Vale, 39, has been at large since last Thursday, when 38-year-old Russina Vale was found dead in their residence in the 7700 block of Mission Gorge Road, according to San Diego police. Vale had suffered blunt-force injuries to her upper body, homicide Lt. Mike Hastings said.

Nowden-Vale is a 5-foot-9-inch, roughly 190-pound black woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She may have the victim's two missing dogs, named Bella and Scruffy, with her, according to investigators.
