MALIBU, Calif. - Scott Sterling, the 32-year-old son of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, has died of a possible drug overdose in Malibu, the Los Angeles County coroner's office said Wednesday.
The death at an apartment in the 22600 block of Pacific Coast Highway was reported at 11:29 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The man found dead in the apartment was identified this morning as Scott Sterling, said coroner's Lt. Larry Dietz.
Dietz said Sterling's death resulted from a possible drug overdose, but that will be confirmed through an autopsy.
