A construction crew digging near a middle school in Chollas View hit a gas line Friday morning.

The San Diego Fire department is on scene in the 1100 block of Carolina Lane and evacuated the students from Millennial Tech middle school to a nearby park.As of 9: 45 a.m., San Diego Gas & Electric was able to turn off the gas in the area and has begun making repairs to the line.No injuries to have been reported.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
