SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- It's a sad night at San Diego State, where the Aztecs have lost their number-one fan.
Tom Ables attended his 788th and final SDSU football game on Saturday, October 14. He shared this video on Twitter:

Ables died Monday at the age of 91.
10news spoke to Ables just a few months ago. He was such an important part of the Aztecs' athletic program that he is even in the Aztec hall of fame.
Ables attended San Diego State College in the 1940's after serving in the Navy. He later served as the school's sports publicity director.
