SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego police are asking for the public's help in locating a woman reported missing last week.
Police said Claudia Jerome, 71, was last seen at about 6 p.m. at Alvarado Hospital (6655 Alvarado Road) on July 14. She apparently left the hospital against medical advice, according to police.
Jerome is unfamiliar with the area and has recently shown signs of dementia, police said. She is also at risk for a seizure without medication.
Jerome is black, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a green hat, red sweater and jeans.
Anyone with information on Jerome's whereabouts is urged to contact SDPD's Missing Persons Unit at 619-531-2277.
