San Diego police search for gunman who pistol-whipped employee while robbing video game store

Robber got away with undisclosed amount of cash

SAN DIEGO - San Diego police were on the lookout Tuesday for a gunman who pistol-whipped an employee while robbing a video game store in Mira Mesa.
A lone gunman robbed the Gamestop store at 8135 Mira Mesa Blvd. around 9 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.
The pistol-whipped employee was not injured and the robber got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, he said.
Police described the gunman as black, in his 20s and around 5 feet 11, last seen wearing a black mask, black hoodie and jeans.
