SAN DIEGO - A 67-year-old motorcyclist who crashed in San Diego's San Pasqual neighborhood was hospitalized Saturday with a broken back, police said.
San Diego police Officer David Stafford said the victim lost control of the bike while traveling east in the 17700 block of San Pasqual Valley Road around 11:45 p.m. Friday.
The rider came to a sharp left turn and drove off the road, Stafford said. The man's injury was not life-threatening, he said, adding that alcohol played no role in the crash.
