SAN DIEGO - Two masked gunmen robbed an El Cerrito-area hookah bar Monday morning as its employees were preparing to open for the day, but no one was hurt, police said.

The robbery at Prince Mediterranean Hooka Cafe at 4644 College Ave. was reported at 5:50 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Dan Lasher.

The gunman, both armed with handguns, ordered employees to the ground and took cash from a register and a wallet from one of the employees, Lasher said in a statement.

They fled on foot, he said, adding their faces were covered by bandanas and their wore black hoodies.
