Oceanside police hope surveillance photos will lead to the man who robbed a CVS Pharmacy of about $15,000 in prescription medicine.

The video captures part of the June 1 armed robbery of the CVS Pharmacy at 1980 Oceanside Blvd. shortly before 10 p.m., according to San Diego County Crime Stoppers, which is offering a $1,000 reward in case.Separately, Stamford, Conn.-based Purdue Pharma, the maker of OxyContin and Dilaudid pain medications and part of an industry coalition dedicated to stopping pharmacy holdups, is offering a reward up to $2,500 for information leading to a conviction. The gunman -- he was described as white, thin and about 5 feet 6 inches, with a thin mustache and blue eyes -- is believed to be in his 20s or 30s; he fled in a white Nissan Sentra, with two bags full of prescription drugs.
