SAN DIEGO - Some residents in a Bankers Hill housing complex were shocked to learn that a naked homeless man entered their gated spa and took a bath in the Jacuzzi.
A resident said he noticed the nude man in the Jacuzzi "washing out his clothes and also taking a bath."
Some of the man's clothes were still sitting on the bottom, but another resident, Thomas, told 10News that the man left something else behind in the water.
"There was some feces left in the water, and I think that he had soiled his pants, probably, and was washing it out in the spa," said Thomas.
According to Thomas, the homeless problem in the area is becoming unbearable, and incidents like this one are ruining residents' quality of life.
Thomas said, "They have to get a little bit tougher with vagrants."
A maintenance crew will clean out the spa, but it will be a while before it is ready to be used again.
