Power outage reported in East County

SAN DIEGO - More than 1,500 San Diego Gas & Electric customers lost power in the Casa de Oro, Rancho San Diego and Mount Helix areas early Monday.
The outage occurred just after 2 a.m. and was expected to last until around 4:40 a.m., according to the utility's website.
The cause was under investigation.
SDGE initially reported that as many as 1,600 customers were out of power at 3 a.m.
As of 7 a.m., only 11 customers were still out of power.
