Singer accused of DUI, resisting arrest

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Pop star Justin Bieber walked out of jail Thursday following his arrest earlier in the day in Miami Beach on charges including driving under the influence and resisting arrest.

Bieber was arrested after police said they saw him speeding down a residential street in Miami Beach in a yellow Lamborghini. Officers say he had an expired license, was initially not cooperative when he was pulled over and smelled of alcohol.

He was charged with DUI, driving with an expired license and resisting arrest.

The 19-year-old Bieber was released on $2,500 bond.

Police say Bieber admitted that he had been drinking, smoking marijuana and taking prescription medication.

Another R&B singer, Khalil, also was arrested. Police said Khalil was driving a Ferrari.
