SAN DIEGO - A 55-year-old woman suffered a shoulder wound today when she was stabbed by her 30-year-old roommate during an argument in San Diego's Normal Heights neighborhood, police said.
The stabbing happened just before 4 p.m. at a home in the 4600 block of 33rd Street, said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
"The argument escalated and the suspect went to the kitchen and got a knife," Stafford said. "She returned and stabbed the victim in the shoulder one time with the knife."
The victim refused medical treatment, Stafford said.
It was unclear if her roommate was arrested.
