SAN DIEGO - A woman is in the hospital Tuesday after being sexually assaulted, police said.
San Diego Police Department officers responded to a call at Colina Del Sol Park near 52nd Place around 2:12 a.m.
Authorities said they found a 50-year-old female who complained of pain in her rib area and had cuts and swelling on her face.
Initial reports indicate that the woman was assaulted in a van.
She was transported to a local hospital for her injuries. The man suspected of assaulting the woman was arrested at the scene.
