SAN DIEGO - A 21-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries when she crashed her speeding car into three parked cars in Serra Mesa early Tuesday, police said.

The crash in the 3100 block of Murray Ridge Road occurred around 12:15 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The woman was driving her Nissan Maxima at a high rate of speed when she lost control and hit three parked cars, Delimitros said in a statement.

"She suffered massive internal injuries that are considered to be life-threatening," he said.
