SAN DIEGO - San Diego police are looking for a robber dressed a security guard who held up another man at gunpoint Monday.

The incident occurred shortly before 9 a.m. at a Union Bank parking lot in the 8900 block of Rio San Diego Drive.

The victim told police he was getting items out of the trunk of his car when the robber approached him and identified himself as a law enforcement officer.

The suspect was dressed in a security guard uniform and had a handgun pointed at the victim, according to police.

The gunman then took the victim's wallet and other personal items and fled the scene.

The suspect was last seen in an older four-door vehicle. He was described as a Hispanic male, between 35 and 40 years old and wearing a blue-gray uniform with a badge on the shirt.
