Police seeking 2 who carjacked a motorist's Mercedes in Bay Terraces

Police: Suspects carried shotgun, revolver

SAN DIEGO - Two men armed with a shotgun and revolver carjacked a motorist in Bay Terraces early today, police said.

The carjacking in the 300 block of South Meadowbrook Drive was reported at 1:49 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford.

The victim told investigators the gunmen walked up and pointed their weapons at him as they forced him out of his car, Stafford said in a statement.

They then fled in the victim's white 2007 Mercedes E350 sedan, California license plate No. 6ACH063, he said.

Police described both gunman as Hispanic. The one who wielded the shotgun was bald and appeared to be in his mid-30s, around 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, Stafford said.

The other carried the revolver and was described by police as in his mid- 20s, around 5 feet 7 and 200 pounds.
