CHULA VISTA, Calif. - Chula Vista police sought the public's help to locate a 48-year-old mentally disabled man who was last seen at a Trolley station early Friday.
Heriberto Tari was last seen shortly after 7:15 a.m. at the H Street station, according to police.
Tari cannot talk and communicates by writing on a notepad he carries. He wrote "El Cajon" on the notepad, but it was unknown if he boarded a Trolley.
Tari is 5 feet 6 and 145 pounds with a thin build, and has brown eyes and short black hair. Police said he had a "very distinctive hunched over body posture." He was last seen wearing a burnt orange dress shirt, black dress pants and black shoes.
Tari was known to walk quickly and could cover a lot of distance, police said.
Officers asked anyone who spotted Tari to call the Chula Vista Police Department at 619-691-5151.
