Police search for suspects in several pedestrian robberies

Incidents occurred within a span of 2 hours

SAN DIEGO - Police are looking Monday for at least two suspects believed to have robbed pedestrians in at least four different incidents.

The first robbery took place in the 3600 block of El Cajon Boulevard at 10:45 p.m. Sunday. Another robbery occurred at 37th Street and Polk Avenue at 11 p.m. A third robbery took place in the 1000 block of University Avenue at 11:30 p.m. and the fourth robbery took place at the intersection of 1st Avenue and Robinson Avenue.

The suspects are believed to be males and armed with handguns.

The victims reported items stolen including cash, wallets, cell phones and a purse.
