SAN DIEGO - San Diego police on Saturday sought a hit-and-run driver who struck a 19-year-old man in Grant Hill.
The crash in the 200 block of 29th Street was reported about 3:10 a.m., when a gray compact car going west on Imperial Avenue turned right onto 29th Street, San Diego police officer Frank Cali said.
The victim was dragged about a block and the suspect vehicle hit a parked car, Cali said.
A friend of the injured man took him to a hospital, where he was treated for a fractured pelvis, broken ribs and serious internal injuries. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Anyone with more information as to the name of the suspect driver or the whereabouts of the car was asked to call San Diego police at (858) 495-7800.
