EL CAJON, Calif. - Sheriff's deputies are searching for an armed man suspected of robbing several 7-Eleven stores in a span of two hours in the East County.

The latest robbery took place in the 10000 block of Lake Jennings Park Road in Lakeside at 3:12 a.m. Monday, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies said the same robber might have hit another 7-Eleven in the 700 block of Bradley Avenue in unincorporated El Cajon at 3 a.m.

Two separate stores on Jamacha Road -- a store in the 1400 block and another in the 300 block -- were also robbed at 1:33 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., respectively.

Deputies said the suspected robber was armed with a gun and wore a red Star Wars character Sith mask and a black hoodie.

Deputies are hopeful the surveillance cameras inside each store will help them get a better idea of who is behind the mask.
