Police say parked cars stuck by hit-and-run driver in Golden Hill

SAN DIEGO - Authorities said they are investigating an early-morning hit-and-run crash in the Golden Hill area of San Diego that left two parked cars damaged. 

The San Diego Police Department said the wreck occurred at around 2 a.m. at the corner of 27th and C streets.

Officers said a vehicle smashed into the back of a Toyota Prius sending it into a Honda Accord parked in front of it, as well as a tree. 

Officers searched the area for the suspect vehicle and found a red pickup truck with front-end damage.

Police are looking to into whether the truck was involved in the crash.

There have been no arrests.
