SAN DIEGO - Thieves used a stun gun to rob an armored vehicle security guard at Fashion Valley Mall.
The crime happened around 3 p.m. Friday.
According to police, the security guard was walking down some stairs with a money bag in hand when a man used a stun gun on his neck to disable him.
The suspect had an accomplice and the two of them grabbed the money bag and took off running toward a parking structure.
Police say the suspects, described as two Hispanic males, got away in a grey or silver, four-door Toyota Tundra. They left the stun gun behind, as well as the money bag, which was empty.
The security guard suffered minor injuries in the attack but was otherwise fine.
