CARDIFF-BY-THE-SEA, Calif. - Sheriff's officials on Friday released a sketch of a man suspected of exposing himself to women in Cardiff-by-the-Sea on three occasions in the past month.

The most recent incident was reported Dec. 17 shortly before midnight in the 2200 block of Carol View Drive near Birmingham Drive, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

The man was spotted wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and nude from the waist down. He allegedly exposed himself to a woman while engaging in a lewd act, sheriff's officials said.

Cardiff women reported similar incidents Nov. 29 and Dec. 7.

The culprit was described as white, between 25 and 30 years old, with short light brown hair.

Investigators asked anyone who knows the man or recognizes him from the sketch to call Detective Shawn Silva of the Encinitas Sheriff's Station at 760-966-3500, the sheriff's department's non-emergency line at 858-565-5200, or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
